Spouse Visa & KITAS

Spouse Visa is intended for wives of KITAS (Work Permit) holders. In addition, visas are granted to spouses who are Indonesian citizens.

Overview of the Spouse Visa & KITAS

The Spouse Visa, in combination with a KITAS, grants foreign spouses the right to live in Indonesia alongside their Indonesian partners, enabling them to settle and establish a home without frequent visa renewals. While a Spouse KITAS does not automatically permit employment, it provides valuable stability, allowing foreign spouses to embrace daily life and integrate into local communities.

This visa also serves as a stepping stone toward permanent residency (KITAP) after two years, making it a popular choice for those who plan to make Indonesia their long-term home. For couples wishing to stay close to family and build a life together, the Spouse KITAS offers a practical and legally secure solution.
